About us

Born June 2013

Lots of help, lots of luck. So glad to be here.

The café’s dining corner: checkerboard floor, flowered tables and a street-facing window.

At the beginning, this place was just Eliza — with Teddy on board — an oven, a work table, and a totally essential little crew of dear family, friends and helpers.

In the years since, we’ve had a growing gang of incredible people keeping it warm, loud and rolling in here. Now this business is a cute, awkward kid — renovated, and insulated!, by Billy and another gang of friends in 2022–2023.

That’s the story, so far.

Come say hi

We’re open for breakfast and lunch through the week.
