Milk & Honey Kitchen

A from-scratch café and bakery just off Main Street. Buttermilk-biscuit breakfast sandwiches, focaccia lunches, and a pastry case full of good things.

The hand-painted Milk & Honey sign out front — ‘Café · Good Times’ — beside the café’s grey-shingled porch.

Since 2013

Good times, made from scratch

Milk & Honey started in 2013 with Eliza, an oven and a work table. These days it’s a loud, happy little shop with a checkerboard floor and flowered tables, turning out biscuits, breakfast sandwiches, focaccia subs and more pastries than we can fit in the case.

What folks say

From our Google reviews.

  • Our turkey sandwiches were so amazing that we came back a second time during our visit. I am almost 70 years old and that’s the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had. The focaccia bread was made there and so perfect.

  • Best breakfast sandwich. Food was tasty. The hash brown was also so unique and yummy. The food is worth the wait, but it is not fast food — so don’t go if you’re in a rush.

    Debra Medlock · Google

  • The egg frittata on the biscuit is so good! It may be the best breakfast sandwich I ever had. I wish I had sat down at the table and chairs outside and enjoyed it.

    Audrey Tanberg · Google

  • Love this place! Went four times during our week trip here. Our favorites were the breakfast sandwich, chicken schnitzel sandwich, and cinnamon sugar doughnuts.
